2. About Prophetic Discovery
Prophetic Discovery is a voluntary Christian ministry based in Cape Town, South Africa. Our team primarily consists of volunteers. Prophetic Discovery is not a denomination, church regulatory authority, or substitute for a participant's local church leadership, professional care, or personal discernment.
The DISC assessment is supplied by independent third-party providers. Prophetic Discovery is not affiliated with those providers and does not control their websites, privacy practices, or communications.
3. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these Terms. A separate written arrangement and appropriate guardian consent are required before a minor may participate.
4. Registration, session fees, and payment
The session fee is currently R175 per participant or the stated foreign-currency equivalent and helps cover operating costs. Full or partial discount vouchers may be made available on request.
Payments are processed through PayFast or another payment method displayed at checkout. A booking is only confirmed after the registration, booking, and payment or approved voucher steps are completed.
Session fee amounts may change for future bookings. Changes do not affect an already confirmed booking. Refunds and cancellations are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Nature of the Services
Prophetic words are offered in good faith as an expression of the team's prayerful discernment. They must not be treated as absolute instruction, guaranteed prediction, or a replacement for Scripture, prayer, wise counsel, medical or mental-health treatment, legal advice, financial advice, or other qualified professional support.
Each participant remains personally responsible for decisions made in response to a prophetic word or any other Service. Spiritual, personal, financial, or organisational outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Prophetic Discovery cannot guarantee a particular outcome.
6. Recordings and personal information
Sessions are recorded for quality assurance and the participant's personal reference. Recordings and uncorrected transcriptions are shared with the participant. They are not shared with unrelated third parties. Storage and deletion are governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Prophetic Discovery name, logo, website, Starter Pack, worksheets, frameworks, training material, and other original content belong to Prophetic Discovery or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Participants may use material supplied to them for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, resale, public distribution, or creation of derivative commercial material requires prior written permission.
8. Participant conduct
Participants agree to use the website and Services lawfully and respectfully. Participants may not submit fraudulent information, misuse another person's information, harass or harm another person, interfere with the website, infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use the Services for an unlawful purpose.
Prophetic Discovery may decline, suspend, or end participation where reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, or operational reasons.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Prophetic Discovery is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or reputational loss arising from reliance on or use of the Services. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount donated for the relevant Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Privacy and POPIA
We process personal information under POPIA and our Privacy Policy. By registering, participants consent to necessary collection, use, storage, and communication for administering the Services.
11. Changes and termination
Prophetic Discovery may update these Terms when Services, legal requirements, or operating practices change. Updated Terms apply to registrations made after their published effective date. A participant may stop using the Services at any time, subject to the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution. If unresolved within 90 days, either party may pursue mediation, arbitration, a competent South African court, or any remedy available under the CPA.
